Program Details
Infants are unique and have their own patterns for play, feeding and sleeping. These patterns serve as our guide to introduce activities that will prepare your infant for life.
Your infant’s daily schedule is directed by his/her individual needs with plenty of one-on-one interaction with our highly qualified teachers in our nurturing and interesting environment. Our teachers create individualized lesson plans that are unique to each infant to ensure your child is being challenged to acquire new skills.
We maintain a 1:4 teacher to infant ratio. This ratio is kept low so teachers can bond with each infant, which is crucial for emotional development.
Our Infant Program is designed to:
1) Meet the individual needs of your infant
2) Make your infant’s first transition from home easy and natural
3) Help develop your infant’s mind and body
4) Provide you with regular communication to keep you involved
Our Infant Room
We understand that infants need a clean, safe and comfortable environment to explore. Your baby’s safety and health is our highest priority. We receive health and safety input from our Nurse Health Consultant who visits our center on a regular basis.
Infants are provided with a safe and well-shaded space for outdoor play.
We offer a quiet area where your infant can sleep in an individual crib. This area is monitored by your infant’s teacher.
Our Teachers
Our Infant/Toddler Supervisor is a credentialed Infant Room Leader.
Our experienced staff is made up of knowledgeable teachers who exhibit qualities of warmth and concern for each child and his/her family. Many of our teachers have a long tenure at Creative Years Learning Center and have credentials in Early Childhood Education.
Our teachers will provide daily communication about your baby’s day. In addition, there will be detailed feedback concerning the developmental milestones your baby achieves.
